Facing a diagnosis of breast cancer is a difficult time both physically + emotionally, it is so important to have proper guidance + support. I am passionate about creating a safe space for women to learn about their surgery, understand their healing process , and reconnect with their body.

The goals of our sessions are to:

  • Learn tools to navigate through your body’s signals and needs while you are healing

SUPPORTING YOU FROM DIAGNOSIS THROUGH ALL STAGES OF RECOVERY

PRE SURGERY / PRE RADIATION

  • Experience hands on treatment to have a baseline understanding of what your body feels + moves like prior to surgery/treatment

  • Learn what to expect after surgery

  • Learn Breathing + Relaxation Techniques to help ground you during surgery/treatment

  • Learn Range of Motion exercises to initiate once cleared by your surgeon/doctor



POST SURGERY / DURING CHEMOTHERAPY / RADIATION

  • Hands on treatment techniques (soft tissue/scar tissue mobility, John F Barnes Myofascial Release + Craniosacral Technique) to:

    • Decrease Scar Tissue Formation, Pain, Tightness, + Fear of Movement

    • Increase Mobility + Body Awareness

  • Strengthening/ Aerobic Exercise

BRCA

  • Women who are diagnosed with the BRCA mutation that choose to undergo a prophylactic mastectomy will also benefit from treatment + education, pre and post surgery. Treatment supports the overall healing process, and return to previous activity level with greater ease + connection.
